My name is Megan. Wife of 11 years to John. Mom of 4 girls ages 1, 5, 7, and 9, 2nd grade teacher

of 13 years.

I’ve always wanted to be a writer. At a young age, I had notebooks shoved under my bed full of stories that I dreamed would be published some day.  One day, the idea to start a blog came to me. I thought, “What on Earth could I even write about?”

Then I looked at my 4-year-old with dirty feet climbing on the counter I just cleaned, my 5-year-old doing cartwheels off of our new couch, the baby crying about baby stuff, and my 8-year-old telling me I’m the meanest mom in the history of the world. . . . and there it was!

Maybe I could show moms it’s okay to be a little crazy, we probably will never have a spotless house, that most girls do olympic gymnast moves off the couch…that we are not alone in this wild parenting gig and give a few tips along the way of how I am embracing, not just surviving, the chaos!

There has to be some statistic that prov

So…in one sentence:

This blog is my adventure of parenting 4 girls while maintaining (in no particular order) my marriage, a job, a house, our money, friendships, a small business, meal planning, fitness, and my sanity.

I promise you are a good mom already. I promise this will not be another “Pinterest Mom” blog that makes you feel like you’re doing a crappy job and that you’ll never add up to “that mom”.   I promise you my house is messy, my kids can be ornery, and sometimes, even though I meal plan, I have no clue what’s for dinner some nights. I promise to write relatable, real tips and tricks that are useful…and probably some funny stories of this crazy life.

This is how I coordinate our house, coordinate my kids, coordinate the food, and coordinate the money. And everything in between.

Join me in being a not-so-perfect mom trying not to go insane.
